Bosch NEI-30 Dinion IP Infrared Imager Wins Top Awards at ISC West and GovSec

Bosch’s NEI-30 Dinion IP Infrared Imager has won back-to-back awards: Best New Product in the Video Surveillance Advanced Imaging Technologies category for the Security Industry Association’s 2012 New Product Showcase (NPS) and a 2012 Government Security “Govies” Gold Award.

The award for Best New Product in the Video Surveillance Advanced Imaging Technologies category was presented at ISC West in Las Vegas. Our NEI-30 Dinion IP Infrared Imager was one of 70 entries in this year’s program – all leading-edge technologies and solutions for today’s security industry.

In addition, Bosch’s NEI-30 Dinion IP Infrared Imager has won a 2012 Government Security “Govies” Gold Award. These awards honor outstanding government products in a variety of categories and were presented at GovSec 2012 – the Government Security Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C.

The Govies were launched in 2009; there were 53 entries this year, which represented an increase of 40 percent over 2011. Winners will be featured in Security Products magazine and on its Web site (security-today.com).

The Bosch NEI-30 Dinion IP Infrared Imager is a rugged, all-weather, active infrared surveillance camera designed for master perimeter surveillance and other outdoor low-light applications. The IR Imager provides best-in-class images day and night, covering up to 160 meters (525 feet) with unrivaled illumination quality throughout the field of view.

The imager can tri-stream video simultaneously — on two H.264 streams and one M-JPEG stream. Features such as multicasting, internet streaming, and iSCSI recording are fully supported. The NEI-30 Dinion IP Infrared Imager also features built-in video content analysis as well as the more advanced Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA). The preinstalled IVA digital imaging technology algorithm uses multi-level image analysis of pixels, texture, and object direction.

“We’re happy to receive this recognition from SIA and Government Security Conference,” says Willem Ryan, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Bosch Security Systems. “Dinion Infrared imagers represent some of our most popular products – and we’re proud of our innovations in 24/7 perimeter protection.”
